The Final CLE2 Conference

 The Final CLE2 Conference was held in KTC on November 22.  The purpose of CLE2 program is to develop young engineers who can play an important role in a global society by providing the appropriate educational experiences beginning with the first year of high school and the program has selected as "Good Practice" by Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.

 The purpose of the conference is that KTC teachers report their achievement of the program and listen to outside opinion to enrich the content more. About 30 people from other technical colleges and local business people and KTC graduates, parents joined the conference.

  In the morning, they walked around class rooms to see what was happening in CLE2 programs and the following coffee hour was opened for participants and KTC teachers to exchange idea toward education.

 In the afternoon program, two 5th-year students in Computer Engineering and International Communication, Tatsuya Yamamoto and Kenji Wada who experienced internship in New Zealand gave short presentation of their experience in NZ. After that, KTC provided poster sessions for KTC teacher to present their educational techniques and features and extend informal discussion with participants.

 Finally, 6 people from industries and another technical college, KIT, alumni was invited to the assessment of the program. KTC received high evaluation from them.  But, KTC still need to appeal CLE2 program to society and industry to get more support from them.
