Collaborative Learning in Engineering and English

15 students who joined Certificate in English and Engineering program and spent one year at Otago polytechnic in Dunedin, New Zealand last year, gave speech of their lives in New Zealand in front of their parents, classmates and students who are interested in the program.

The purpose of the program is to give the opportunity for our students to continue their engineering studies in an environment in which they are completely immersed in English and New Zealand culture.

They divided into 6 groups and each group talked about differnt topics in both English and Japanese.　Also, they used power point very effective way and most of them spoke without looking notes.  They didn't have enough time to prepare for speech but they had full of confidence in their speeches. 

We also had guest speaker from 5th year students who gave speeches at Kousen regional speech contest.
